Dear Addison,
How are things going with you? I do hope that you and the family are healthy and in good spirits. My fervent desire is that you become a godly and righteous young woman in the midst of a wicked and perverse generation. Don’t follow the path of the wicked. It only leads to destruction. Going with the flow or following the majority always leads to the gates of hell.
On a different note, this past Saturday, I had a job interview at the Niederman Family Farm. I plan to work during their fall season every Saturday. I’m excited about the prospect of working on a farm and making some extra money in the process.
I keep a joyful heart and love the work that God is doing in me. Even in these times, I’ve been greatly encouraged in the Lord. God has been so good to me, even through my circumstances. Keep in mind that Christ never promises an easy life. But He does promise to be with you when life gets hard. Adversity and suffering are necessary for growth because it changes the way a person thinks. However, this promise only applies to those with a personal relationship with Jesus. Unbelievers have no such promise.
I love you and I thank you for being my daughter. When you have an opportunity, write back. I’d love to hear from you.
Love always,
Dad
