A Blessing

Dear Tobie,

I hope this letter finds you well. How was your Easter? Every Saturday for four weeks prior to Easter Sunday, Cody and I hung door hangers inviting people to our Easter service at church. We also had some good fellowship. Then, when Easter Sunday arrived, we had three church services and Sunday School that day. I wish you could have been there.

I was off work for Good Friday. Our plant was shut down, so I stayed home and read instead. You know, Good Friday is the day that represent’s Christ’s crucifixion. However, Christ wasn’t crucified on Friday. He was crucified on Wednesday night. But His resurrection is what made salvation possible for all who believe.

I pray that my letters and website can be a blessing to you. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me when you have an opportunity. I love you so much, but always remember that there’s One who loves you even more than I do. And that’s the person of Jesus Christ. Write back when you can.

In Christ,
Dad
