How old are you now? You must be about 6, almost 7 years old. Have you thought about what you’d like for your birthday? I’ve enclosed a small card for you to keep. It has my photo on it, a personalized message, and my contact information. Ask Addison or Tobie if they can help you send me a message.
Do you go to church anywhere? I go to Hilltop Baptist Church, and I like it very much. What do you like to do? I like to read books and study the Bible so I can grasp a deeper understanding about the things of God. Do you know how to read? The Tuttle Twins is a children’s books series I think you’d enjoy. It teaches practical lessons on law, economics, and the proper role of government.
Well, I’m going to keep this short. I just wanted to touch base with you and let you know that I’m still thinking about you. You have a father who loves you dearly. And one day, we’ll be reunited once again. I look forward to the day when you can draw me a picture and send it to me. May the God of peace comfort you during this time of separation from your loving father.
