Dear Kyndall,
I hope you received my last letter, dated Dec 22, 2021. I had some personalized cards (the size of business cards) printed up that I will enclose with each letter that I send you. It includes my photo, my web address, my email address, and my mailing address. You can keep it someplace discreetly and use it to contact me whenever you have an opportunity.
Have you ever heard of a radio drama program called, “Adventures in Odyssey?” You would love it. Each episode is about 20 minutes in length. I have every episode on, either audio cassette or compact disc. These episodes are audio adventures published by Focus on the Family. If you get an opportunity, listen to them. The principles are uplifting, the morals are sound, and the drama is engaging.
I’m ready for winter to be over. That’s my least favorite season. I think it has something to do with me getting cold easy. Do you have a favorite season? I’m saving money to purchase some land, but it will be down south a little ways. I can handle the summer heat much better than the winter’s cold. But for a favorite season, I think mine would be Spring because it represents new life.
That’s what Jesus does when He saves a person from the consequences of their sin. He gives them a new life. If you don’t yet have a relationship with Jesus, don’t delay. The Bible says that all are dead in their trespasses and sins. But if you confess your sins and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved. Then you’ll have a new life.
I love you and miss you dearly. I’ll let you go for now, but write back soon.
Love always,
Dad
