Don’t Ever Forget

Dear Paige,

It seems like it’s been forever since I held you in my arms. You were really attached to me and I was to you. Sometimes my arm would get tired and weak, but you didn’t want down, and I didn’t want to put you down. To remedy this, I simply switched arms. I hope you find this just as funny as I do.

How was your Christmas? What did you get? Have you ever heard the Christmas story – the story of Christ’s birth? It’s in Luke chapter 2. Addison should have a Bible that you can use. I sent her one some time ago. I like to read the Christmas story every year at Christmas.

You must be getting so big. I pray for us to reconnect so we can rebuild the relationship that God has intended all along. With men, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible. Don’t ever forget that you have a father who loves you and misses you dearly. I’d love for you to draw me a picture and send it to my address at 850 Ginger Ridge Dr. Trenton, OH 45067. In case you need it, my email is strikingdownthehome@protonmail.com.

Love always,
Dad
