Time to Talk

Dear Kyndall,

I remember calling to wish you a happy birthday, but I couldn’t get through. So I sent you several letters, but they went unanswered. This time, I’m going to try to reach you through the internet. Pretty cool idea, huh? I hope all is well with you, and I pray that you’ve had a wonderful Christmas. At Christmastime, I like to reflect on the birth of our blessed Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. His birth was a fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy, but His death and resurrection was to fulfill God’s plan to save mankind from their sins, for all who believe. This is the best Christmas gift of all.

With the New Year approaching, do you or the family have any plans? We’re already entering the year 2022. And time doesn’t slow down for anyone. It’s fragile and must be used with great care. Our short time on earth doesn’t compare to a timeless eternity.

I understand that you visited Novi, MI earlier this year. How was your trip? Did you do anything fun and exciting? I would love to hear all about it.

Do you have any hobbies? I love to read. I primarily read to increase my knowledge and understanding. Most of my books encompass history, current events, and economics. But I also have some fiction books and allegories that reinforce Biblical principles. However, knowledge and understanding don’t hold any value if it’s not applied.

I’m excited to post these letters online, and hopefully, they will reach you and touch your life. I will also mail you physical copies. My earnest desire is for us to reconnect and rebuild the relationship that God has intended all along.

I love you and miss you dearly. I’ll let you go for now, but write back soon. My address is: 850 Ginger Ridge Dr. Trenton, OH 45067 and my email is: strikingdownthehome@protonmail.com.

Love always,
Dad

📬 Mailed to: 791 Stull Dr. Las Cruces, NM 88001 on December 22, 2021 | Letter #: K-1
